Notes

A very enjoyable show. First set a little short, but a couple of nice nuggets. Second set Brent opener a little spotty, but the show took flight from there, and the finish of the Brent more than made up for the start.

New lighting guy = Hans Shoof, had some nice interesting approaches. I especially liked the falling poppy leaves during Opium.

All in all, a nice start for the winter tour.

Slow start? You're a slow start. 1st set is off the rack. Sounds g-r-e-a-t

Subject: Thanks marcus
Thanks for getting this up so quick. You captured the show very well. Lot's of posts for these shows already. Of the ones I have checked out yours is by far the best. Thanks again!!!!

I saw both shows and as always continue to be amazed. I am still wet behind the ears as a moe.ron (around a dozen shows) but they are my favorite touring band.

As to kcmoeron09's comment. This is what happens when the band has 4-5 months off and an energetic crowd. Did anyone else run into the boys across the street at Sancho's? :)

Subject: she is so coy.... I LOVE IT !
does anyone else feel like this is a show where moe is breaking out of their expected live show? i love all the moe shows ive ever experienced but after streaming this i feel like there is renewed energy within the band that is reflected in the creative jams, teases, and set list for the night. the brent black (1st part) is sleek and jazzy not overly distorted and goes into great jammed out YOY and the obligatory george. the fool in the rain tease in TGORM and the extended version of understand are quite possibly the greatest examples of how moe. is far from calling it quits and is getting ready to unleash some awesome fury in the near future! cant wait to see 'em again this summer! for all the disgrunted PHANS and peeps who cant afford overpriced Dead tickets this is the summer of moe.! thanks for the quick upload please keep these awesome shows comin!

Sounds pretty good to me. I don't know what all of the complaints are about. Fool in the Rain (Zeppelin) tease in TGORM. Sounds like the crowd loves it. See you at Terminal 5.

Subject: Enough with the lights
I can't believe that people are complaining about the lights at this show. Was I at the same one? I was one of the trippiest moe. shows I've ever seen, and I've been seeing them since 1995 (Don't talk to Broadway Joe :-)). Thanks for getting this show up so quick...sounds great. Almost checked out during George...I'm getting goosebumps listening to it again.

Subject: great show
headieVTer not sure what you are talking about, the show was sold out and it was certainly not undersold. the new lights were amazing, lots of cool shit, poppy leaves falling during opium. very 60's70's pschyidellica type shit. was fucking great, ive seen moe. for the last ten years and must say this def. tops the top 10 shows ive seen them play, maybe even top 5.

I really liked the new light show. I spoke to the new lighting designer. moe will be using the screen and the new lighting designer on the next tour.
